Compressed Air Dehumidifier Heatless Air Dryer

Since it is heatless, there is no risk of fire in pipes or from flames!

The heatless dryer uses activated alumina as a desiccant to remove moisture from compressed air. The moist compressed air enters chamber 1 through the inlet switching valve and is dried by adsorption with activated alumina (drying process). The dried air is sent to the use point via the outlet check valve. Some of the dried air passing through the outlet check valve flows from the bottom to the top of chamber 2 through the purge check valve, discharging the accumulated moisture into the atmosphere through the discharge switching valve (regeneration process). Additionally, to prevent pressure drop during chamber switching, a constant pressure process is also implemented to maintain both chambers at the same pressure. This switching is precisely controlled by the program in the control box, allowing for a continuous supply of dried air.

Heatless Air Dryer (PNEUDRI MiDAS)

We supply compressed air that is dried and purified to a dew point of -40°C, providing high-quality air as defined by ISO 8573.1 Class 1.2.1.

Compressed air is a fundamental power source widely used across various industries. This safe, cooperative, and reliable compressed gas occupies the most important part of the production process. While this beneficial compressed gas is essential, it contains contaminants such as moisture, debris, metal dust, and degraded lubricants that mix together to form undesirable sludge. Much of this sludge is acidic, which can shorten the lifespan of pneumatic equipment, clog valves and small pipes, necessitating frequent maintenance and leading to air leaks that increase costs. Furthermore, it can corrode piping systems and cause significant damage to production processes. By using high-performance air filters equipped with drain traps, it is possible to remove oil, moisture, and particulate debris, thereby eliminating undesirable sludge from the compressed air system. However, in modern manufacturing systems and processes that demand higher quality air, this alone may not be sufficient. In such cases, drying the entire compressed air system is unnecessary and costly. Therefore, there has been a demand for adsorption air dryers that can supply high-quality air only where it is needed.

Heatless Air Dryer HD Series

It is a unique vacuum regeneration dryer that can continuously and efficiently obtain stable ultra-dry air.

After absorbing moisture from compressed air using the adsorbent (activated alumina) in the adsorption tower to produce dry air, moisture is removed from the adsorbent by reducing the pressure in the tower, allowing for regeneration. This "air drying" and "adsorbent regeneration" are alternately repeated using two adsorption towers, achieving continuous and large-scale production of dry air. Additionally, the regeneration of the adsorbent utilizes a portion of the dry air, eliminating the need for a heat source, making it an innovative system that excels in energy efficiency and maintenance.
